THETA HOOPS

On a Sunday during each October, our chapter closes off the block of Daniel Street stretching between Sixth and Wright Street to host our annual Theta Hoops basketball tournament and fundraiser. Fraternities in the Greek community and other community members create teams to play in the tournament and fight for the championship spot. The tournament itself is super fun and exciting, and at our fall 2019 event we had the Illini Men's Basketball Team participate in the tournament to make for an even more exciting event and they came back to referee at our fall 2022 event. In total, we raised approximately $17,500 for Champaign County CASA at our fall 2022 Theta Hoops tournament. Below are some pictures from our 2019 event!
